OCI Card Services with Kanata Services

Required Documents: 

1. OCI Application Form:
Completed online application form 

2. Current Passport:
Photocopy of the current valid Canadian passport (first and last pages). The passport should have a minimum validity of six months.

3. Indian Origin Proof:
For former Indian citizens: Copy of the canceled Indian passport with a stamp stating "canceled on acquiring foreign nationality."

For descendants of Indian citizens: Proof of Indian origin, such as a copy of the Indian passport of parents or grandparents, birth certificate, or a notarized affidavit.

4.  Canadian Citizenship Certificate:
Copy of the Canadian citizenship certificate.

5.  Proof of Address:
Proof of current address in Canada, such as a utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, or driver's license.

6.  Photographs:
Two recent passport-sized photographs as per the specifications provided by the Indian Consulate or VFS Global.

7.  Additional Documents (if applicable):
If applying for a minor, include a copy of the birth certificate of the child and passports of both parents.

   If applying based on a spouse's Indian origin, include a marriage certificate and spouse's proof of Indian origin.
